Everyone has complained "Bakugan rules are confusin" or "I don't get bakugan". I decided to dig deep into the rulings of Bakugan, and found them. Some of the rules from the official game have been adjusted for better organization on Bakugan United Elements. So please, Take a look down below. There is also a Battle Simulation further down. Its not a complete simulation but its ok. If you need general rulings, see if the simulation or the map can help. If not, then consult me and I'll add another simulation.
Mapped Out Phases
Step 1. Battle Begins.
Step 2. Set Gate Card, after coin toss.
Step 3. Set Bakugan, Opponent Sets Bakugan too.
Step 4. Set another bakugan, activate ability, equip battle gear,OR Flip gate card(This can only be used by the person who set it). (The choice is entirely up to you and your opponent.)
Step 5. Battle! --> Results --> Life Gauge Deduction
Step 6. Opponents Turn.
Battle Gear is when you add Battle Gear onto your bakugan. This is a phase process, which means the opponent can choose to activate an ability or equip battle gear unto their bakugan.
Adding another bakugan is when you add another bakugan from your stable into the battle. Please note that by doing this, all previously activated abilities do not affect this bakugan, unless noted. The opponent may choose to do the same, activate ability, or add battle gear.
Battle - The Battle Begins, No more abilities can be added. Bakugan with the lowest Power loses. The Difference between the 2 sides are deducted from the losers' Life Gauge. If the Difference exceeds over 500, The loser's Bakugan is claimed to the winner. After the battle, the next players turn begins. All Bakugan are set to standby(Unless noted otherwise), as well as their abilities.
This continues until one players Life Gauge hits 0, or if All of the opponents Bakugan have been tooken due to the 500 G Difference.
